Lead Service Line Replacement Follow-up

Did you just have your lead service line replaced?

You may request a follow-up sampling kit for lead if Aquarion replaced your lead service line within the last 6 months. Your sampling must occur between 3 and 6 months after your lead service line was replaced.

If requested, you will receive a sampling kit with sample bottles and instructions on how to fill them yourself. Please note, before you fill your sample bottles, the water in your home or building must not be used for 6 hours. Many people choose to fill the bottles first thing in the morning. On your chosen sampling date, the full sample bottles will be picked up at your doorstep by an Aquarion staff member and brought to a certified laboratory for analysis.

Please note that only Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays between 3 and 6 months after your lead service line replacement may be selected.
This is a requirement of the Environmental Protection Agency.
